Injection was definitely easier to handle this morning, and I felt a lot clearer today. Of course, I always wake up tired, but it was nice not waking up, and feeling like I was paralyzed from the brain down. I actually did not feel a bit of hunger until right up the point that I was about to eat lunch, and then the feeling was gone. However, dinner left me feeling still a tad empty, and that feeling has only gotten stronger since about 8 p.m. Unfortunately, I didn't leave myself with a fruit option, so it's up to water, green tea, or coffee to knock the edge off.
Day 3 Diet - 500 Calories
First day of the official "Diet". Honestly, it's not that hard. Really, in all honesty, it's not. My biggest problem, is that I'm not used to being able to grab a little something to eat while watching t.v., or surfing the web. So, I'm noticing more of a hunger "pain" than I did during the day.
Of course, for breakfast I wasn't able to eat food, so I jump started my day with a cup of green tea, sweetened with liquid stevia. Not great, but not bad. I definitely prefer it at room temp, versus hot.
Lunch was good, and definitely more filling than dinner. I enjoyed red snapper, asparagus (both seasoned with the juice of a whole lemon. I wish I hadn't used that much, but it's all a learning experience, right?), 1 grissini breadstick, and a whole small green apple.
For dinner, I grilled us all up lean round steaks, and I also enjoyed an entire grilled onion, 1 melba toast, and a handful (about a cup) of strawberries. It was really delicious, but not near as filling as lunch! Next time I think pairing my protein with a different veggie will work better. But all in all, I think I had a very good first day. Can't wait to see what the scale says in the morning :)
Weight loss from Day 2 = 1.8 pounds
