Day 17

Day 17 - Feelings & Such
I was a little confused this morning when I showed no loss or gain on the scale. Normally, I'd see at least a .2 pound difference from the day before, but I ended up weighing exactly the same. The ONLY thing I can think of is that I didn't manage to drink as much water as I've been trying to. Sometimes, it's just hard dang it. This weekend was going to be a very busy one, and was going to be the test of all tests on my willpower. We had two birthday parties {one an hour out of town} and the rodeo {oh the smells of the concession stands!} to attend between Saturday & Sunday. I even joked to one of my friends about having to tie me to a tree while the cake was being served. Fortunately, I managed on my own, but I definitely had to admire it from afar. The hardest part was having to feed Willow some, but don't worry, I didn't cheat. Even though I was foaming at the mouth :) But most importantly, is the fact that I can't eat away from home. No matter where you go, or how healthy you think it is, I can't be sure that anyone can or will fix it to fit the protocol, and I'm sorry but I like my food fresh and hot. I just don't enjoy pre-cooking it, and then reheating it. I seemed to do really well, despite being around amazing smelling food the whole day!

Day 17 Diet - 500 Calories
No green tea or coffee this morning.

I spent most of the morning getting myself and the kids ready for our first birthday party of the weekend, and didn't have enough time to make my lunch before we left. So I ended up eating a fajita salad when we got home.. at dinner time, lol. I made it the same way I ate it last time. Please refer to Day 15 if you'd like to see a pic of what it looks like :)

Dinner was easy! We came home from the rodeo right at 10 p.m., and had three tired, cranky little ones to tuck in. Being tired myself, and not feeling like waiting for something to thaw out {since I forgot to before we left..}, I just sliced up a big green apple and called it a night. Believe it or not, I got full :)

Weight loss from Day 16 = 0.0 pounds
