Day 7

Day 7 - Feelings & Such
If I skip a "bread" or fruit portion at lunch, I have GOT to remember to carry it with me while out in town. Other than that, today went well :)

Day 7 Diet - 500 Calories
The kids and I slept in a little this morning, so there wasn't any use to break out the coffee or green tea, since it wouldn't be that long before I started planning, prepping & cooking lunch. I'm definitely looking forward to a cup of coffee in the morning, though!

For lunch, I decided to have tilapia again, but this time I wanted to try and "bread" it. I've seen several recipes using this method, and wanted to see how it turned out. Honestly, it was good. Not oh-my-gosh-this-is-to-die-for, but you get my point. When you can only have a limited number of types of foods, you start to get creative, lol. I baked it in a stoneware covered dish, along with some cabbage, and added apples to my menu as well. I ended up getting full before having fruit, so I just saved them for later as a snack or whateverl. Granny Smith apples are probably my favorite if you hadn't noticed already :)

Veal kabobs! They were really well seasoned, a little on the spicy side, and very tender. Of course the onion counted as my veggie, a melba toast, and since I had apple slices left over from lunch, I just munched on them until I was full. Pretty proud of myself on my kabobbing skills, since this was my first time :)

Weight loss from Day 6 = 2 pounds
